Thanks for all the hard work putting on this tournament year after year, Andy. I had the best time this year, because I got some bass large enough to weigh. First time going out the jetty that produced bass for me, and a total surprise and honor that I placed 3rd. I can't believe how close the top spots all weighed in at. That new location works well and is closer to most fishing spots. I'm with Eric on the make Spotties their own division to be fair to those that don't want to head out the jetty. Can't wait for next Mission Bay Kayak Classic.

That was another great event and I really liked the new venue. Big Thanks to Andy for all your hard work and to all the sponsors for making this yearly event possible, and all for a great cause.
The trek to the outside is always a little dicey at the mouth of the jetty but the tide, wind and swell all calmed down from the previous day and was all I needed to execute my plan. I managed to catch a total of 10 bass at the reefs and was lucky enough to pull off the win. It’s always great to see and mingle with all the ole school kayak anglers and meet a few new guys to the sport. I look forward to next years tournament and to seeing a few of you on the Water in the meantime IMG_1805.jpgIMG_1808.jpgAttachment 1IMG_1817.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
