San Diego Bay NIGHT Tournament
HELP PLEASE, I need your input on this PROPOSED TOURNAMENT. Ideas and suggestions and possible help later. Any interest.
San Diego Night, Knight Tournament, Check in time starting at 4 pm Friday afternoon, Launch time 6 pm or after from the Shelter Island Launch ramp. CPR, total length of your 3 longest game fish. You must weigh in before or be in line at 7 am Saturday morning. Launch and landing must be from the launch ramp at Shelter Island.. You may not go outside of a line drawn between the tip of Zuniga Jetty and the tip of Point Loma. Kayak, canoe, or any other human powered craft. If you need a motor your handicap must be worse then my amputated foot to qualify. I will fish a Hobie Compass. The breakfast will start at 8 am. Volunteers will be needed. Pay out ofter Breakfast. I need your input on everything. Proposed Date June 21 launch, landing and weigh in 22 June. GIVE ME OTHER DATES. I would think a Mexican Burrito Scramble would be good for breakfast and maybe some fresh Tamales. Coffee and cold drinks. I do not think beer is legal there but we can check. We could make it winner take ALL or winner gets half and maybe Heroes on the Water or another charity gets half or all. Please give me your thoughts only if interested in attending. San Diego really has ONE San Diego kayak tournament in MISSION BAY. Lets start an annual in the Big Bay.. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?
