DP 11/4/18
Got on the water at 7:15, picked up bait at the receiver and started trolling for hali's. Picked up one short hali about 12 in. and one short sand bass. Headed out to the pipe (lobster traps). Started fishing in 30-40 feet of water. A few short bass here and there, and after about 20 minutes the bite picked up. Was throwing nice sized sardine w/ a 3/8 oz. sliding sinker. Picked up a toad sandy and a couple toad calico's. Bass started boiling on my old bait that i threw into the water so I started flylining the dines and picked up another handful of calico's/sandy's. Went back into the harbor around 11:30 to try for more halibut. Only caught a slimestick. Off the water by 2:45. Pretty decent day of November fishing in DP.
