Cotee Cracker shad and shrimp on 1/4-3/4oz Cotee heads. Also the Cracker minnow on the dropshot. Also try drop shotting Slug-o's and other jerk baits. We have the Cotee baits on the BWE store at www.kayakfishingsupplies.com

There are alot of fishing magazines on the market that you could take advantage of. They are full of great info. on the type of fishing you are interested in. Good luck out there........

Gulp shrimp, jerk shad, swimming mullet all work well. Dropshot, carolina rig or on a 1/4-3/8 lead. Wams....my favorite again small swimbaits like Big Hammers in greens/blues,whites and browns in 3" to 5 " leadheads from 1/4 to 1/2 deep diving crank baits like Fat Free Shad, shad raps in perch or crawdad 3/4oz + white or chartreuse spinner baits........some of my favorites.

Ghost shrimp work great, catching smelt, buying a $5 scoop of sardines. #2 hook 1/2-2 oz lead, trap rigged or not. 4 pound line to 40 depending on how I feel.

Check out BWE's current gulpman, and former plasticman and ironman contest threads.

You never can go wrong with some big hammers & leadheads, and crocodile or kastmaster lures. They've always been helpful to me.

The chartreuse grub with a leadhead especially for bay bass has almost never failed me.

my 2 cents
