Dana in the harbor.
Launched the new to me PA14 this morning at baby beach to figure stuff out and get used to the boat. Felt comfortable in it peddling so that’s a big win. Then had a issue with the graph and gps that I ended up sorting out. Conditions outside looked snotty so I didn’t bother. Staying inside landed five calicos a sandy and three spotties. Pretty stocked on that for an hour of fishing.

That's phenomenal fishing for Dana. Or anywhere for that matter, for only an hour. Glad you like your new yak too.

I was out in Dana Point Saturday. Mostly fished in the Harbor and got a calico and my first legal butt at 24 inches! Picked him up across from the bait barge on a sardine.

Only had a hour after trouble shooting my issues with the graph. All the fish were caught on plastics but nothing big. I might be down there again this weekend fishing outside. I need to figure out why the traditional 2d sonar on my unit wasn’t showing hard bottom as it should have. Never used a graph in the salt so need time to adjust.

Wow, good going. I usually end up leaving the harbor because it's so slow for me in Dana. Gonna be out there friday hoping for some of that action.
