4/3 Mdr bassing
I was debating whether to fish cabrillo or Mdr yesterday, and glad I made the right choice. Got to the boat launch at 630, made my way to the break wall. Weapons of the day was 1/2 and 1 oz lead head with 4" Christmas tree and Halloween big hammers. Had a few on the inside but once I got to the outside it was game on. Almost every cast was a bass. Calico and sand bass. I drifted the outside from one end to the other. Left them biting. On the way back in I decide to troll a jerk bait since I saw a lot of bait in the water. Hooked a juvenile Barry. Made a few stops at the docks and got my hat trick with a spottie.
Great way to end the day. |
