Yesterday's Hot Dog
What is the meaning of this?
Why would yesterday's hot dog not be room temperature, unless it's stored in the refrigerator or freezer? My beer is colder than yesterday's hot dog. I looked for alternative meanings in Urban Dictionary and searched for quotes or use in other blogs, but to no avail. Is yesterday's hot dog colder than a witches tit in a brass bra in December? *headscratch

If you don’t get it, and really have to know....
Catching fish: HOT
Not catching fish: COLD When your a fisherman you can go on hot streaks and cold streaks. So when your hot and catching fish, you are today’s “hotdog”. When you not, and not catching fish...your yesterdays hotdog, and there’s nothing colder meaning, you are on a cold streak, and can’t get bit to save your life.

I knew there was an important reason for this thread. The only dumb questions are those that are never asked.
I lean toward Mitchell's more esoteric search for meaning in life, but since ful-rac is the one who penned his byline, I now understand his definition as well. ^upvote on the mustard Thank you. My angst has been calmed and I now feel replete. I am ready to move forward and conquer the challenges of tomorrow. Perhaps as early as later today. The face of confidence and determination Fish. Catch. Eat.

If you call someone a hotdog....
I thought it meant show off, but it means a daredevil or risk taker...the term came from Germany grinding up chucks of meat into sausage, they thought they were grinding up dogs at first.
