Narrowed down my FF options.

Cant decide which of these two under $200 would be the best fit. This will be my first FF so if that plays a factor into which will be easiest to work with would help as well.
1). Lowrance HOOK2 4X Bullet GPS Plotter Fishfinder https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/lowr...ductextensions

2). Garmin Striker Plus 4 Dual-Beam Transducer Fishfinder/GPS Combo

3). Any honorable mentions?

Appreciate all the help from this forum!

Whats your budget?
Where are you fishing?
What type of fishing do you do?
What's your boat platform?
How comfortable are you modifying the hull of your boat?

go somewhere like west marine or BPS where you can play with them both. Go with the one that is most intuitive. And they may have an open box unit on the next level up that you can negotiate into your range

You need at least this or you'll be wasting money as would soon be looking to upgrade. Just my $.02 . https://www.westmarine.com/buy/lowra...90?recordNum=5

The 4" units are REALLY hard to see when out of non-glass water. If you want a sonar AND chart, I highly suggest waiting and getting into the 5"+ class of units.

I had one of the first Lowrance Elite 4 units and it was AWESOME, but I could barely see the damn thing in any adverse condition and I very quickly grew out of it.

I have a 7" unit now (giggidy) and will never look back...
