Bay bass
Launched at MDR boat ramp this morning at first light for a quick bass session.
Headed north to the AR. Conditions were great. Flat with very light winds. It was a bitch paddling out there against the tide today. Wish I had a Hobie. Anyway, fishing was slow but I picked away at them and managed to get 6 Calicos. All around 12" to 16" or so. All fish caught on artificials/released. No monsters today but still fun. Lots of dolphins around chasing the schools of bait. Wind picked up so I headed in against the tide (again). Said hello to 1 other yakker fishing the end of the breakwall. Said he got a few. Back at the launch by 11. Cheers, Steve |

Nicely done!
The last three times I've been out I've hit fog and was solo. I really want to throw some of my bass gear at those reefs and see what I can wrestle up.... |
