Yellows are everywhere

Haven't seen much on the reports here, but the seaforth boats are all limiting on yellows right off La Jolla. Our overnight boat stopped there and limited in 2 hours.

Didn't see a single yak out there.

Go get em!

I launched at La Jolla Shores this morning at 6:15. I was only able to C&R a quality calico bass on a flatfall.

Back at the beach around 11:30, however, I spoke to very nice fellow that told me he and his friend just "killed it" today. He showed me three yellowtail, all of which looked to me to be between 30 and 40 pounds.

I did not get his name, but he helped educate me about the parking situation, took a second to untangle some of my straps that were wrapped around my kayak wheels, and offered a couple of quick fishing tips. Thanks!

Paul

My neighbor went out on a 2.5 day trip this weekend, they landed a bunch of yellows under 20lbs but only 1 tuna.
