DP 5/27 what a diff a week makes
Im sure weather changes day after day but water temps never stayed over 60 where last weekend friend told me bite was on as temp hit 63. Made bait as I fought the wind all the way to the point. No luck and Im tired of getting skunked! Threw swimbaits all morning of different colors and nada. a couple kayaks looked like they headed to pipe and 2 more stayed 1 mile due West. Hope they had better luck. On a side note, I've paddled hard before fighting winds, but I've never been this sore after a trip and Im in the gym 6 days a week. Has me seriously thinking of getting into a peddle yak!

After fighting recurring "tennis elbow" for years, between paddling and casting, my elbow was dead after a day of fishing. When I fish DP I usually put in at baby beach and on a windy day, that paddle back was a nightmare... Finally caved a few weeks ago and splurged on a Hobie. Best decision ever! Wind = no problem!

I just hope you don't get gypped! Peddled kayaks aren't worth the money.

Same experience here. Wind, chop, dirty water, GWS's and no fish.
Did hear of a kayaker getting a 60 lb WSB out at the flagpoles though, on a pink rapala.
