Bassin' Blythe Riviera
This is a fishing report from the Blythe backwater which I fished on 5/13/17.
- Air temps foretasted to be 90-degrees - Morning was nice probably in the 70s & 80s with mild breeze - My in hull water temp monitor at 67-degrees after launch - Water is stained aqua marine color - Bluegill appear to be spawning visibly in the shallows - Bass are deep in the cover - Bass on smaller side compared to So. Cal lakes. - Enjoyable scenic area free of the boisterous crowds...best part! Here are a few pics: I take a look at a fish I caught: I wrestled this one out from under a brush pile: I saw this guy hiding under a pile of reeds: This little one ate my Roboworm: Thanks |

100+
You might wait till fall as it is probably 100-degrees plus for next 5-months in Blythe. Bring the morning dawn roboworms.
