Lightweight waterproof jacket/windbreaker source?

Looking for such a jacket but at a reasonable price. Anyone know of a good source? If not waterproof, how about water resistant. Thanks.

Fred Hall Show next week

Also, keep an eye on the sales on the West Marine website. They are likely closing out their foul weather items

Tony(Ful-rac) just bought a Columbia jacket that was pretty cool, when you want to put it away it literally fits into one of the jacket pockets, not sure what the model name is. When you buy your jacket I would buy it one size larger so that you can wear it over a cotton sweater.

Different Gore-Tex is for different applications (water).
Try to get a material that is intended for your use.
Splash Jackets are nice, but can be expensive.
