Looking for a yoyo rod
Hi guys I am new to this forum. I wanted to get a yoyo dropper loop rod. I was thinking about either a Californian Tri-Helix 7ft XH 30-80 or a Proteus 7ftXh 30-60. Have any of you guys used those rods and which one do you think is better? Also I would like to hear what some of you guys like to use for yoyo and dropper loop for yellowtail.

I am really not trying to be funny here, but whatever works and whatever you like to use is good.

I was using an 8' 30-60# Makaira jigstick for yoyo, but it was too heavy on the yak. Better on a boat with a rod like that I think. Super tiring and ungainly to use a heavy rod on the yak. You can use a 15-30/40# rod and be more comfortable winding on the yoyo I think and it'll have all the pulling power you could dream of on the kayak.

Perfect length yoyo/ dropper loop rod is 6'5" IMO.......like a Seeker 665 is my favorite.
