Malibu 8/24
Snags and I started with the sun coming up over the hills and launched the kayak through the surf. Launch was easy since the waves were really small.
conditions were great all morning. no swell and no wind. fished the kelp all morning with various lures and swim baits. Later we trolled lures along the edge of the kelp and both techniques caught fish. Snags caught 6 calico (biggest 18"), 1 sandbass, a few macs and a juvi WSB I caught 2 Calico a few macs and a short baracuda of the 8 Calico that we caught at least half were legal size. a few pics of the fish Last edited by Reiner; 08-25-2016 at 02:03 PM. |
