I need a new Lowrance 5 - any info?
So it looks like I have 2 options for new Lowrance 5 models:
1) Elite-5 Ti Fishfinder/Chartplotter with Mid/High CHIRP (83/200kHZ) + DownScan™ (455/800kHz) Imaging 2) Hook-5 Fishfinder/Chartplotter with Mid/High CHIRP and DownScan™ Imaging, Transducer: 83/200kHz Broadband and HDI 455/800kHz Downscan I currently have an HDS 5 Gen 1. I mainly fish La Jolla, but occasionally fish the bays. I've heard last year through this forum that the DSI or CHIRP may not be the best for La Jolla (I recall depth issues with DSI, but I forget??) Any input on pros/cons would be appreciated. Anyone have any of these units a review would be appreciated. Thanks everyone. |

Elite ti with the all scan transducer. No question. You have the best of all sonar technology in one. Guarantee you won't miss the 50/200
