Sat 23Feb?
Thinking about going out Saturday morning, anyone else heading out that would not mind me tagging along?

You'll have no problem finding the crowd. It will be an epic clusterf$ck tomorrow. Hell, this bite even made the paper.
Also, keep in mind that the launch is totally washed out from this rain and they probably won't bother fixing it with another storm on the way. Tide will be low, but we may not be able to drive onto the beach. Hopefully everyone will try to unload as quick as possible in the morning if we are confined to the street. Anyone want to hoop LJ Sunday night?

It's going to be snotty this weekend anyway... Like everyone has said before. Rain isn't an issue but the wind is. Even if it's nice early, you don't want to be caught in the wind. Makes for sore arms and back and a helluva long paddle in.

I'll be out there tomorrow morning. I was out this morning and it was really bad. I took my better judgment and played it safe rather than sorry and after an hour or so on the water I left. not good to be out there alone on a day like that

Sorry I bailed after watching it for 2 hours. I just think it would have been
difficult to keep a bait on the bottom and find a spot. The wind reports show it was about 25 mph during that time. There's no way that would have been fun. If you did get hooked up with wind like that, you'd be at Blacks by the time you landed the thing... |

That would be more useful than a weather report. Adi should add an ass-hat and douche-nozzle forecast to BWE.
"Saturday morning will have partial ass-hat coverage; building to 80% by the afternoon. A strong douche-nozzle front will be moving in by Sunday morning. The NWS will be issuing a Marine Douche-bag Warning for inshore waters out to thirty miles"

I'll be out there on a sand colored Hobie Outback peddling around. I'll be the guy who's rod seems to be bent all morning (because I'm stuck on kelp)...

I'll be on a grey Cobra Fish and Dive looking for my 1st YT. I'd even be happy to just see one landed. How early is to early?
