Malibu Stealth 12 FS
It's a 2010 model I believe. Used if for about a couple dozen times. Always launched from harbors. Rinsed after every trip and garage stored except for the last 6 months where it sat in the shade outside. Comes with a anchor trolley and 1.5" Ram ball mount. I'm the second owner of the kayak, but according to the first owner he never used the kayak once and it sure looked like it.
Typical hull scratches, but fairly light I would say since I babied the kayak. There is one significant scratch/indentation on the rear starboard side, but it's more cosmetic if anything. I added some gorilla tape to the hull as well to protect it when being dragged on sand. Old pic, but the kayak still looks like this just a little dusty. One thing to know about the kayak is the the scupper plug for the kayak was never installed. I still have it if you ever get around to taking it to the malibu warehouse to have them do it. I ended up using a rubber plug instead to keep the water out. Worked like a charm and never had water coming through the hole. And the other area of damage is this cracked buckle portion. It can be easily repaired with a cutting board or washer and some marine goop. Dent/Scratch Asking 550. PM me if interested. Located in Alhambra. Last edited by King Saba; 08-02-2016 at 02:48 PM. |

what kind of seat and paddle?
Does this model have the mount/hole for fish finder transducer? How is it as a standing platform? Any leaks in the hatches, hull, scuppers, etc? Thank you sir. |

https://www.amazon.com/Carlisle-Magi.../dp/B001AI4HNM In Orange. Yes it has the transducer mounting hole in the hull. Stands well, well balanced. I'm 180lbs and can stand no problem on it with 20-30lbs of gear. No leaks, but the oval hatch isn't 100% watertight as is the case with the year model on all the stealths. Thanks |
