Lowrance Elite-5 CHIRP help
I recently bought the Elite-5 CHIRP and having trouble detecting fishes at depth more than 180 feet. It seems to detect fishes find in shallower water. I mean I caught rock fishes so I know there are fish down there but the FF doesn't detect any. It came with the 83/200 455/800 transducer. I'm not sure if there are settings that I didn't set right or something? Appreciate any help you got on this issue.

I usually go to slow trolling mode , then medium chirp and it works for me. Make sure your not in fresh water, shallow water option etc...

I wonder what the difference is from fresh water to slow trolling settings. I actually normally run on freshwater and it works fine. As you can see in the chart below, the settings seem to be identical. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
