kayak rack

when carrying your YAK on a standard roof rack do you guys prefer upside down or right side up?

does it matter?

Most kayaks are designed to be transported upside down on the load bars, to transport right side up you need saddles or a J cradle to transport sideways

I slide mine on right side up, then flip face down. Never had a problem.
