Frozen squid La Jolla?
Last minute, thinking about heading to LJ in the am to fill the freezer one last time before the rockfish season closes.
Didn't pick up any squid at the local tackle shop and I'm wondering if there's any gas stations or stores that open early that may have any squid near LJ? Newport and surrounding cities have squid at 7 elevens and liquor stores so I'm thinking there might be a chance?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If nothing else Walmart, some are open 24/7. Rock find are fine with it, WSB are a little more picky. Good Luck Tomorrow, Nick.

Try any fishing wharf, as they will be open that early for trips and typically sell that stuff (I know Dana point does).
What time are you launching? I am headed out as well and can bring an extra 1lb with me for you, take the hassle out. Let me know and I'll bring some. |

Frozen squid La Jolla?
Filled up the sacks. Reds, chuckleheads, etc. Also caught a toad calico. Guessing it was 12+pounds? PB for me. Muscled that thing out of the kelp.
Was fishing blind all day. Had no power to the unit. Thought I charged it?? Oo, and PODS of humpback whales. Saw about 6 different whales. It was surreal. A glorious day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
