Boat launch
I've been keeping an eye on the la Jolla webcam. I noticed that with the rain we have a wash out there. Was the "K" Rail moved or did the rain wash it away? Anyone know the water conditions post rain? Thanks for the info.

The water around the cove may contain high levels of toxicity after a heavy rain.
Use caution and avoid water contact 72 hours after a storm. As for the launch, here's a link to some of what was going on... http://forum.kayak4fish.com/viewtopic.php?t=9715 I don't know if the concrete was removed by lifeguards, but when I last saw the orange cones, they were passing me on their way out of the cove while I was on my way in. |

The concrete is buried under the sand. If they want it they are going to have to dig it out.

WOW! Goes to show you should never take Mother Nature for granted.
If she wants something she'll take it like she has a coupon for it. |
