Catalina Camping and Kayak Fishing
Thought I would share another year of kayak fishing and camping in Catalina with my two sons. We increased our stay from 4 nights to 6 nights this year. Great time for doing nothing but kayak fishing and sitting around the campfire. Fish and scenery are not much different from posts in prior years so not many new pictures this year.
Not surprising that this was a new experience this year. Snorkeling in front of the campsite in about 20 feet of water you could swim with the YT at what seemed like an arm’s length distance. You could keep up with the schools of smaller ones. Going to 6 days did require that we bump up our beer supply. |

We shipped the kayaks and gear over via the Catalina Freight Service and used the Desconso Beach Ocean Sports boat service to take us and the kayaks to the camp site.
