La jolla 8/6
Great morning at beautiful la jolla. Surf eased up. Much nicer to launch. Still occasional 4 to 5 footers. Water was smooth with a 2 or 3 ft swell. Went off the pier west then circled around to kelp. Hooked up two. One on way out and one on way in. Didn't get any yellowfin maybe next time. All and all was back on truck loaded at 11am with a 26lb and 31lbs
Just wanted to say thanks to Alex and Chad. You guys got me out there just over 3 weeks ago for the first time. I've gone now 6 times and have 11 fishtail at home now. Hooked doesn't even explain it. Don't think I will ever fish a stupid bay again. |

And just a bucket for a bait tank. Great job. I was talking to you on Tuesday at the launch around 11:00am.
If you remember a guy stepped on a treble hook that went in his foot in the surf. |
