Elite 7 Chirp

I have an Elite 7 Chirp installed in the scupper area on my PA17, it has a lot of issues in regards to clarity on the sonar.

Has anyone else encountered this and hod did you fix it, if you did?

Can you post a picture of the problem?

I have the Elite 5 CHIRP and see no noise:

You say scupper area, do you mean the Lowrance ready mount? If so, be careful that the Lowrance ready cover and the transducer has a lot of space between as to not trap air bubbles. I actually cut my Lowrance ready cover out the shape of the transducer to minimize bubbles and prevent sand and debris from collecting on the cover.
