Oh wow. Was planning a trip in mid July as well . Total bummer! Hope they can get it all cleaned up, such a beautiful place.

Very bummed when I heard this on the news today. Refugio is one of my favorite weekend getaway spots with the family. I remember the 1969 oil spill and it literally took years for the oil smell and tar to dissipate on some beaches.
