I just confirmed with Everingham Brothers Bait Barge in Mission Bay that they will sell you a $10 kayak scoop and have let them know that we have a tournament on April 18th IMO 20%, a $2 goes a long way.

In my experiences, sometimes a 2-3$ tip gets you double the baits. They sure aren't mathematicians but they are some cool dudes.
