LJ 9/1 Dive Report
Launched at LJ shores w/ a few friends in kayaks at greylight. Made our way just south of the condo in around 65-70 ft of water and started diving. Saw a school of around 15-20 10-12# yellows at the edge of vis within 3 minutes. It kinda startled me cause I wasn't expecting to see anything so quickly, so I preceded to botch the 15ft shot. I know, I'm a dumbass. Anyways, the vis has gotten worse, only 12-15ft, and the only other interesting things I saw were a few blacks and a really annoying seal that followed me around for around 15 minutes.
Didn't hear of any yakers catching yellows fishing either... |

Saw you guys out there Saturday morning. Nice morning at the launch. I arrived a 5am and there was no one around. It was awesome being the first guy on the beach. The rest of the day sucked. No fish and the ever annoying knothead. My bud Jim hooked a YT close to the cans on the way back in and lost him at yak side. Very slow day,
