Fire Warnings

With all the fires and smoke here in SD County I would not recommend coming down this way if you don't have to. Be Safe if and my prayers go out to all those in the line of fire. God's Blessings be upon you.

Wow.... so sorry to hear that..

Yeah, it's been pretty crazy today. My sister is a grad student at CSU San Marcos - they evacuated the entire school today (despite their Spring finals this week) and my sis is staying with me in LJ until things die down... be safe guys!

I don't remember the last time there was that kind of fire damage in SD, it's usually north of LA where all the big fires occur. Good luck be safe.

We've had some pretty nasty fires here in SD, 2001, 2003, and 2007. These could potentially be worse if the winds kick back up tomorrow. Even worse could be when the winds start blowing on shore the ash and smoke will blow back in over us. Be safe everyone.

I hope you didn't lose your Kayak man.

Just took this picture from the shopping center below my house. They still won't let us in. The east winds are picking back up and the fires are encroaching down upon csusm.

I stayed home today... I'm not in the official Evacuation zone, but the fire is close enough that I want to be ready to bail with my family if we need-to.

If you need a place to hang out, message me - I'm near Palomar College.

I heard "0% Contained" on NPR this morning and thought, "there's no way I'm driving to work this morning".

Thank god it's getting better today. I have another reason to dislike winds now.
