Doheny 30th
Wow it was like a giant hair drier blowing today. Made it on the water by 7:30 and it was 73 degrees out. Stopped by the bait barge but they only had some big mackrel so I passed. Tried where I caught a barely legal halibut two days before, NO fish today, but they might have been there. Just too windy. Wind was howling from Capo Beach dry and hot. I went through a bottle of water an hour. I got some exercise and that was the point.

Considering the conditions I can't believe you bothered. Was it bad inside? Usually it's a little calmer there.
