i haven't contributed in awhile
4/11 started out in mission bay at the lifeguard tower at first light and headed to the bait barge. the bait barge had pinhead anchovies mixed a few large smelt or your choice of mackerel, which i didn't even look at ( i figured i could get mine own easy enough).
the morning started out a little foggy but the surf was mild going out the jetty. water temp was 56 and water was stained at about about eight foot. we ( me and Mitchell) headed south for the Pt Loma kelp stopping along the way for rock piles. after a few hours of throwing plastics and dropping squid for nothing we figured to head north and hit some of the artificial reefs the north of the jetty. after couple rock piles dinner showed up only one fish for the day but was enough for me and the old lady. all in all a good day.
