I like the folding ones, just be careful and don't force them down manually without first releasing the lever (ALL THE WAY). You will ruin the gears inside, and your kayak will flop down on the freeway when your going 55+.

I considered it but the PA is to heavy and would require two people to get is on these racks.

If they are anything like the ones I use to have they should be universal. As I thought, if you look at the photos, it says on the box "Universal" I wish I had not sold mine, they were really good for loading. What are you asking for the J hooks?
