Possible El Nino Year...
I just saw that 2014 could be possible El Nino conditions.... What dose that mean for fishing?? good? bad?

I have found the summer prior to el nino has been very good, which would be this summer

Bad for squid and thus seabass, good for fin-bait yellows and offshore species.

Usually means warmer water temps, but the results are not real predictable. Could be good, could be bad, also depends on the species.

This is all hearsay, but I have heard of people catching dodos on kayaks after the last el nino. Not quite sure of this storys accuracy however.

Typically it means good fishing during the summer, and terrible weather in the winter, but we'll see if that holds true.
