Dana Point
I heard a few different things NEW about Dana Point Harbor from customers coming into our store. Is it true that you can no longer launch your kayak or float tube from the boat ramp? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks and tight lines.

I think as long as you pay the $10 you're fine. They've never said anything to me.

It is posted for no SUP or floattube launching or landing. Pretty sure kayaks are still ok, I launch on sunday and had no issues.

I do know that they really get annoyed when yakkers park in the wharf parking lot and walk through the little opening in the wall to launch for free. I pay the $10 gladly to save on the paddle from baby beach. But I launched there two days ago with no worries. All they care about is their $10. They can pack more yakkers' vehicles in that lot than big space hogging vehicles with boat trailers... so the more the merrier.
