Lobster fishing Dana Point…. again
Went out til the sun came up Weds, nite. Parked the sailboat on the north side of the headlands and worked our way back towards the harbor. Jumped in the kayak to planted the nets deep in the forest and close to the reef. Picked up two sets, blanking out. We moved to the south side of the headlands and still nothing. Finally got into some lobster close to the breakwater. lots of released shorties and a few legals, that were worked hard for. Got to bed at 8 am and 9:30 the jackhammers started outside my window. WTF! guess the neighbors had to get to a gas between the houses our side of the property line under the concrete. I was like a zombie all yesterday. I will be ready to go again and turn more of this…..to this….. to this

Yeah it was delicious. start with a couple tablespoons of salt water so it steams with the lid on for the first 2/3 of coooking then add the butter and let the water evaporate off.
