Dana point February 9
Launched around 7 and got a scoop of chovies. Checked out a few places around the harbor and out near Doheny beach for a few raked baits and that's it. Decided to head out toward the pipe and see what was happening. Fish were holding in around 45-55 ft. Got several sand bass one was 19". Also got a couple sculpin. Slow but steady pick. Headed in around 1130 because I had plans with the wife and kid that afternoon.

Sounds like fun to me. Looks like you had good conditions too. At least it looks like it in the pic.
