SD Bay 1/11 -- Was Sweet
I decided late last night to head out for an early morning session on the bay. Dropped the Trident in at 6am and headed for open water. By seven I hooked a nice barred bass and seven 30 I hooked my very first halibut on a green/silver swim bait. I was soooo damn excited I got some quick pics, pulled it on the boat and rookie mistake lost if over the side after I retrieved my hook....DAMN!!!!! the one that got away!!! It was my first big trophy and away to the deep blue it went away....i guess this is what will keep me coming back. better luck next time I supose....

If her Usain Bolt impression was any indication of health, she is a picture of perfect health. Good luck tomorrow....

Congrats on your first butt. I'm sure you'll have plenty more.
