9/21/13 newps report
Just a quick cap of my morning today. Got a late launch at about 6:30 and met socal mike on the water and headed out to try for the elusive ling again. Trolled a rapala cd18 blue mac pattern hoping for a thresher but no takers. Got to the spot and marked a big school on the bottom. Did the old song and dance pulling up alot of dinks with a few decent specimen to take home. Fishing wasnt great but not a bad morning by any account. Ended the morning with 4 rockfish and a goat that id keep and one large spiny dogfish that got sent back down. The treefish in the pic is my pb as far as trees go and was a fatty!
Every day im amazed by natures attention to detail.

actual report
Good multi-species session! And, thanks for the actual local kayak fishing report. They are getting to few and far between.

Nice pics, the side boards on that yak sure have a nice grain, but still need to be bloodied!
