Newport Reds....

This is my 1st post. I've only been a member for a few weeks now.

I went out of Newport yesterday with a few of my friends. We launched out of M st. At about 6a. I started finding schools and dropped down. I started picking away at them. Before I knew I had my limits of reds before 9a. Since I had my limits, I drifted back in and caught 2 sand bass. One of them was 16 in.
Not a bad day out on the water. The reds ranged from 13-15 inches.

I think I saw you guys out there. I was coming from the kelp as you were making your way in. I had almost the same take, 9 rock fish and a big sand bass. I was on the olive outback. How did your buddies do
