Newport Kelp 7/14
Decided to hit up the kelp in the Newport Area in search of some big sheephead but only the small ones were willing to come out and play. Was using frozen shrimp and live ghost shrimp as bait. Since I wasn't really gettin' that much action I figured I would just mess around with the GoPro a bit.
Total fish count was 4 small sheephead, 2 short calico bass, 2 senoritas, 1 perch, and 1 grass rockfish. Even without the big fish, it was still a good day to be on the water. Got out there around 630 am and left at around 1030. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_wl3f6fBmI

I pumped it myself. But I'm pretty sure that Big Fish Bait and Tackle in Seal Beach sells them.
