SD Bay 7/13

Started out at Shelter Island and on the water by 6am... Figured I'd try and make bait on my way out but ended up catching 1 mackerel and decided to pickup bait at EBBCO.

Loaded up and headed for Zungia, geeeeeez that's a long paddle!!!!!!!

A couple of nice hits but no lunch on the flatties....

Tide started coming in so I figured I'd take advantage since the ride out there beat me up. Drifted in some hooking up on a few corvina and 1 small bass. After several stop and go's ended at the double hangers and decided to call it quits. Made the long trek back across the bay to shelter island.

Beautiful day, all catch and release. I did come home with some sore shoulders but I guess that's part of the game.

I'm ready for round two!!!!!!!!

Love to see the Corvina coming back. Good job on the CNR. Definitely scored some Karma points today...
