dido from me.
what all species do you target for fishing after dark ? and what baits ? live or artificial ? i have heard of others having success, night fishing in Bays, in years way past. but i have tried night fishing in SDB and MB a few times back then, using artificials (plastics & gulp), but rarely get any bites at all. live bait (chovies or dines) or even cut squid, may be better for night time, but i have never tried any of those. .

I used to night fish the bays for bass from my float tube.. aka Ninja Fishing!
It can be pretty productive, with the dark 3" swimbaits, like a blackwidow (black & red), or a black/white pattern. I never fished live bait, or tried for squid.. at night. But, I usually used scents on the swimbait, (hotsauce, procure, unibutter), or Gulp! White Mullets. |

Fly line or reverse dropper loop a live dine at night and spotties should be productive so long as the bite is on. Proven.
