Cabrillo bait questions

Looking for team sewer input. When fishing inside the wall, I assume you head for the bait barge. But when you head outside the wall where do you make bait?
Thanks for any information.

box of sqiud from 99 ranch, or use a sabiki toss some crushed up dog food or cat food to attract the bait fish.

FYI... The Zion Market across from 99 ranch has squid for $1.49/lb. beats $4+ at Turners.

Bait is where you find it. It may be here one day gone the next. Invest in a good fishfinder, that will help you find bait and see where it is in the water column. Some days you only make a few pieces and some days you make dozens...i would like to give you a specific place where you can make bait everytime, but that place doesnt exist.. Your gonna have to work for it..

We've never had issues making bait when launches from the beach, somedays is spanish macs, somedays its sardines or smelts and from time to time you might find squid.
