LJ June 11th.
this is a little late, but I figured I would throw it up anyway. Got past the reservation around 6am and took me about an hour to finally hit 100 feet with no luck on bait along the way. It seemed all the bait was sleeping all day cause i couldn't find anything. I finally landed a nice spanish and fly-lined him for about 2-3 hours. I decided the day was dead and headed in. On the way in I was trolling my still lively spanish when I got hit cruising over the kelp. this was my biggest Calico yet at 5lbs 22in.
