looking for a inexpesive starter kayak
Title says it all, Ive been kayak fishing once got drunk and flipped it a few time in dana point harbor. I had a blast but I want to try it again, serious this time. Anyone got a good starter thats just collecting dust? My brother wants one too, we say we are god fishermen but truth is we dont know very much. Preferably with rod holders if possible but we arent too picky

I have a cobra tandem that I converted into a one seater and installed 2 hobie hatches, it has a hole in the deck where I pulled the fish finder out of and its not pretty by any means but its 100% seaworthy and doesn't leak id be willing to sell really cheap.

OEX posted on Craigslist yesterday a Tarpon 160 for 300.00. We also posted some basically brand new Mokens for a deep discount.
Whats your budget for everything? |

I don't want to go much higher than 300 for everything I need in case I wreck everything and somehow sink the ship. Plus my wife will kill me

I love this Kayak, very stable and fun. I used it for 2 years before getting my Hobie outback. It comes with a paddle and a kayaking life vest. Around $400-$450, PM me if you interested. |
