Spear fishing?
Me and a buddy are planning on getting spear guns to do some free diving off the yaks this summer anyone have any experience with this, and what is a good starter gun to

Start with a JBL 6' pole and a slip tip. Get used to the dynamics of hand eye coordination in the water. In the event you start tagging larger species later on.... you'll appreciate starting at LvL 1.

Maybe start out with "Hawaiian Slings" their quite easy to trans port & shoot.Use a 3-prong tip.Very easy to pull back & shoot.Check your local dive shop & Sport Chalet.Good luck & B-safe

You can't go wrong with the Riffe Guns. But I prefer the Steve Alexander gun but could be spendy! Here is the Riffe Island gun, my first real spear gun.

Riffe Guns are the best. I've shot many large WSB in LJ with one.
Seems they are everywhere |
