Irvine Lake .....1/29/13
Went to Irvine lake first time this year
Water is clear and looks like trout is hungry bite anything Trolling, mini jig , bait..... I got easy limit within 2 hours After that I just catch and release kind of fishing I caught 8-9LB trout while trolling rapala CD4 fire-tiger, took me 5 min to land Post picture of trout and bass I caught |

Very nice trout and winter bass! I was at Jennings last weekend and the bass were biting, deep water, caught at least 20 on worms - spoons and ice jigs at 40-60' deep, from 1 lb to 3 lbs.
Could be a great year for bass this spring. |
