Dude I'm down for that, you're talking the Open Bay Bass Tourney on the 26th right? I'll think of what I can bring and post up here soon. I'm thinking a Chorizo and Eggs mix.

Andy,
Having breakfast just before the tournament brings to mind the subject of bowel movements while in the tournament and fishing from said plastic bottle boat....... Your thoughts????

What time will people be showing up

Last year I camped out at Shelter Island so that I could get a good parking spot for the tourney. Does anyone else plan on doing this? I'll be starting to cook at 4:00 so I can get my Kayak ready for launch.

JimmyZ, where are you allowed to park overnight at Shelter Island? I've checked it out the last time I was there but everything that I saw says no overnight parking. Is there someone to park a 25' trailer overnight legally?

What stops trucks from launching their boats at 10 P.M. and coming back the next day? I slept in my truck and there were others there also. I'm not sure about legal places to park other than camp sites.

kayaks enter as single, boaters are 2 man team. Looking for 5 bass over 14 inches. Weigh in at the end, BBQ and tons of swag in the raffle. Kayak division winner $500 GC from OEX and you are also competing against the boaters for over all winner. Payouts to top 20 over all.

The weather for this weekend is changing constantly. Hopefully the rain will stay away!

What would you guess is our headcount? I'm sizing up our caffeine/sugar requirements.

I was going to cook my stuff at home and keep it warmed, but if we could get someone with a camping stove or something it might be better to cook it there. I was going to try cooking on my BBQ but I don't think that would work well enough.

Looking forward to actually having coffee and donuts with everyone next year!

Hopefully we won't have pea soup fog at start time again.
