LJ 11/20. Jack stacked

perfect weather. perfect day of off-season YT chasin.

first guy kicked my arse for a good half an hour, weighed in at 36 pounds. 42" tip to fork. PB yt.

second guy hit me super shallow and went straight for the pots, got him up quick and with no complications. 25 pounds.

On the squid. Guy next to me hooked up with a frozen so they must have been feeding. The big guy was stuffed with em.

That's partying like it's 1999!
Both your day on the water,
and your timely report!!
It is just missing AM or PM...
I LIKE!

Big time congrats, awesome catch!!!

It will take a couple of days to get that smile off your face.

36# is very respectable PB on local YT. Not a lot of folks reading this had put some huge numbers over 36# yts under their belt. Whether they are sand sharks experts or not, bait barges or guides, whatever.

Well, maybe that's what you get for being a nice guy, Ryan.

A guy just the other day was telling me you can't catch Yellowtail this time of year. I tried to tell him otherwise, but after a couple of seconds I had to stop myself. Why take away the precious feeling of discovery for him, ya' know?

Whew!

For a second I thought that LJ was the only place that did not have squid.....

It's good to know that LJ has also been blessed with a few squishy ones. Too bad that all the YT are now stuffed and it's pointless to go fishing for them now.
