Tidelands report 9/28
The morning started out with an amazing sunrise........... And went downhill from there. Wasn't a terrible day fishing, just slow and a little spottie . The lures for the next Yakfest got bit in their own. They really got bit when I used them as trailers for a 3/4oz Terminator football jig. I cut the weed guards off for SD Bay. The wind picked up and it was the opposite of the tide, which made for choppy rough water. Just a few fish and a chance to fish with Jim Sammons for a little while. He had a client so ,just did a quick chat. Hope he didn't mind.
Hope to fish with more of you guys soon. |

Good to see you out there Patrick. I think the biggest issue was the tide. We had a long period of slack while we were out.
Didn't get our normal bite in the deeper water so worked the flat past the sail boats then amongst the boats and the bite was much better. Not jumping in the kayak at all but a pretty steady pick.
